The demand for CiCO concerts from seniors’ care facilities is solid, steady, and growing — long-term care, retirement, supportive housing, hospitals, and palliative care homes all want the high-quality music Concerts in Care delivers. We will continue to grow and deliver our renowned programming to those homes.
But there is another dimension to our aging population where need is growing with far less support. More and more seniors are choosing to age in place. In fact, almost 90% of Ontario seniors are living on their own in their communities, in their homes, with families, in apartments and condos, or in retirement communities. They need social connections, ways to keep learning, and reasons to get together, including the enjoyment of live professional music.
CiCO needs to be where they are. Research and policy are already focusing on this group. CiCO can be on the front line, bringing isolated seniors together to share in the joy of concert-hall-quality performances.
STAY TUNED for new developments in Autumn 2026!
