Nada Ristich appointed Honourary National Patron

The National Association of Health Arts Societies, Concerts in Care and La SAMS announce the appointment of Ms. Nada Ristich as Honourary National Patron of the Concerts in Care/Les concerts de la SAMS programme.

This honour recognizes the important role played by Ms. Ristich, as Director of Corporate Donations at BMO Financial Group, in enthusiastically embracing the value of our collective national project to bring the work of the performance community to elder audiences in long-term care and retirement communities. She has been an ardent advocate and a bedrock of support for our family of charities as we continue to grow and reach our eager communities of elders who live beyond the reach of the concert hall. Generous and consistent contributions over the past decade from BMO Financial Group have been invaluable in the development and expansion of this vital quality-of-life initiative. To date, over 22,000 concerts have been presented to elders throughout Canada by our group of societies:

  • Health Arts Society (BC)
  • Health Arts Society of Alberta
  • Health Arts Society of Regina
  • Health Arts Society of Manitoba (in partnership with Manitoba Arts Network)
  • Concerts in Care Ontario
  • La SAMS (La Société pour les arts en milieux de santé)
  • Health Arts Society of Atlantic Canada

Thank you, Nada!
