The global music community has suffered a great loss. Jeanne Lamon, Artistic Director Emerita of Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, and Artistic Director of Concerts in Care Ontario (formerly Health Arts Society of Ontario) from 2014 to 2019 died on Sunday, June 20, 2021, after a short illness.
She was a woman of great vision, generous creativity, and immense practicality, one of the select artistic leaders who had an excellent business sense as well as musical leadership. She was a warm, vital human, with one of the most dazzling smiles in the business. We mourn her passing.
