From Our Home to Your Home

While Concerts in Care Ontario is not able to perform live concerts during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are recording and distributing “live” 30-minute concert videos to any facility or home who wishes to share them with their residents.

Concert List

CONCERT #28 features Toronto singer and composer David Wall with pianist Marilyn Lerner in Montréal for a feel-good session.

CONCERT #27 features 3x JUNO nominees and SiriusXM winners Sultans of String.  Pack your bags for a musical journey!

While today, Thursday, September 30th marks Canada’s first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we are fortunate enough to share the Sultans of String’s collaboration with Dr. Duke Redbird and Twin Flames  A very important partnership for the Sultans, to have the opportunity to work with Indigenous intellectuals and artists.

To all who have been affected, our hearts are with you always.

CONCERT #26 features the “avant-accessible” duo of pianist Edana Higham and percussionist Zac Pulak known as SHHH!! Ensemble.

CONCERT #25 features the Payadora Tango Ensemble.  Founded in 2013, Payadora has become one of Toronto’s most vibrant and sought-after acts.  We hope these Latin America melodies ignite a passionate evening, or afternoon!

CONCERT #24 features Canada’s very own, Quartetto Gelato.  As one of North America’s most successful classical crossover ensembles, they have toured extensively around the world and can be heard regularly on networks such as CBC, PBS, and NPR to name but a few.  This video features new selections from their upcoming album “Tasty Tunes” which is scheduled for release in November 2021.

Thanks to the generosity of the Glenn Gould School of Music, CONCERT #23 features former fellows of the Rebanks Family Fellowship and International Performance Residency Program.

CONCERT #12 features the heartfelt and ever-versatile partnership between Alex Samaras and Lara Dodds-Eden.  Alex teaches singing at The University of Toronto Jazz Department and Humber College.
