From Our Home to Your Home

While Concerts in Care Ontario is not able to perform live concerts during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are recording and distributing “live” 30-minute concert videos to any facility or home who wishes to share them with their residents.

CONCERT #35 features ES:MO, a new musical duo formed by Juno Award-Nominated Canadian artists Elizabeth Shepherd and Michael Occhipinti.  ES:MO’s debut album “The Weight of Hope” serves as a creative vehicle of exploration for the multi-disciplinary duo, showcasing their in-depth musical knowledge, awareness of musical history, and fascinating skills as musicians. The project expertly crosses through multiple genres, from R&B to Americana to Jazz and Folk.

CONCERT #34 features violinist Sheila Jaffé and accompanist Monique de Margerie.  Sheila is principal violist of the National Ballet of Canada Orchestra and a member of the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra.  Monique manages her own music studio and supports the community through her work at CAMMAC.


CONCERT #33 features three of Canada’s busiest musicians.  Juno and Prix Opus winner Mark Fewer is an Associate Professor of Violin at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto and is the Artistic Director of Stratford Summer Music.  Lucas Harris serves as the regular lutenist for Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, is active in Tafelmusik’s Summer and Winter Baroque Institutes, and a faculty member of Oberlin Conservatory’s Baroque Performance Institute.  Joe Phillips is a lecturer at Western University and Principal Bass in the London Symphonia.


CONCERT #32 features harpsichordist Marie Bouchard. Throughout her career, she has worked with all the eminent Canadian Baroque music ensembles including Tafelmusik, Les Voix Baroques, and the Aradia Ensemble.
