THINGS TO DO with CONCERTS IN CARE

NEW! Seniors’ Programming Advisory Network – SPAN

Artistic Advisor Andrew Burashko asked the question last year:

“Why don’t we involve the seniors we are serving in our programming?”

Andrew recognized that we need to hear from our seniors directly, even though all evidence points towards their satisfaction with Concerts in Care performances. We can be sure to keep up with changing tastes, and know for certain that we are meeting their needs if we have them at the table.

New Horizons federal funding program agreed, and we now are starting to develop our table of participants from across Ontario.

We hope to create a series of smaller networks among communities, and to bring together a dozen or so lead participants by Zoom 5-6 times in the next 8 months to hear what they have to say, learn from them, and to share our enthusiasm and passion for excellent musical programming.

If you know of a senior who is passionate about our music, and who would love to talk to people about his/her/their ideas, please let us know!
